Awesome Artists
This year many students from Roanoke Academy participated in the 15th Annual Roanoke Fire-EMS Poster Contest. This contest is a city-wide contest, and the number of students entering is growing from year to year! The competition is tough! Once again, three of our students have been recognized for their outstanding posters!

In the K-2 division, First Place went to Logan Brown.

CONGRATULATIONS Danahry Thomas!!!!  Danahry’s artwork work was chosen for the 2019 Roanoke City School Holiday Card! Danahry is a fourth grader in Mrs. Kelly’s class. His drawing of two birds dragging a Christmas tree in a red wagon was chosen by Dr. Rita Bishop to be the image of our school holiday card.
